The Los Angeles Mission is a nonprofit organization that helps out the local homeless people with a place to stay and eat. When we were there my classmates and i helped cook the homeless food. We chopped up a bunch of meat and other stuff. We made over 300 sack lunches for the homeless. After all this i felt so proud of myself knowing i helped feed someone who is less fortunate then me. I would go back any day to help them again.

Museum of Tolerance

The  museum of tolerance was a eye opening experience for me. I learned so much stuff i didn't know, like there's a huge problem with child trafficking in the world. My favorite part was when we went on a tour through the history of the holocaust. At the end of the tour there was this room that replicated the gas chambers used in the holocaust. This was interesting cause i had no idea what they looked like or how they worked.
